Short description
Am I OK? is a romantic comedy and drama about Lucy and Jane, two lifelong best friends whose relationship is tested when Jane reveals she is moving to London for a promotion. Facing this upcoming separation, Lucy confesses a long-held secret regarding her feelings for Jane and her identity. As Jane attempts to support her friend, the two women must navigate their changing bond and their own sense of self while dealing with the instability caused by the revelation.

- Following the film's premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in 2022, HBO Max acquired it with the intention of releasing it on the streaming platform in the same year. However, Warner Bros., of which HBO Max was a part, was facing so many problems and undergoing such changes at the time that, as a result, the film was not released until 2024.
