Radhe Shyam

Radhe Shyam is an Indian romantic drama about Vikramaditya, a palmist of international repute who can read people's futures from the lines of their hands, including his own. His readings tell him that love is not written in his stars, and he lives by that certainty until he meets Prerana, a woman who makes him question it. As their bond grows, fate appears to work against them, and the film follows their struggle over whether love can outweigh what destiny seems to have decided. The story unfolds against a 1970s European backdrop.

The film was directed and written by Radha Krishna Kumar and produced by Vamsi Krishna Reddy, Pramod Uppalapati and Bhushan Kumar, with T-Series, UV Creations and MSK Films behind it. Prabhas plays Vikramaditya and Pooja Hegde plays Prerana, heading a cast that also includes Krishnam Raju, Sathyaraj, Jayaram and Bhagyashree. It runs 138 minutes.

Released in March 2022, Radhe Shyam took in roughly 16 million USD worldwide. Audience response was modest: it holds a rating of 5.2 out of 10 on IMDb from around 33,000 votes, and a matching 5.2 out of 10 on TMDB, though from a much smaller base of 42 ratings.
