Day of the Warrior

Day of the Warrior follows a government agency known as the Legion to Ensure Total Harmony and Law, or L.E.T.H.A.L., as it pursues a crime boss who goes by the name Warrior. His operations combine diamond smuggling, art theft and pornography, and he has broken into the agency's secret database and taken the files on its agents. Three operatives, Tiger, Willow and Cobra, take charge of the case with help from their martial arts instructor Fu.

Andy Sidaris directed and wrote the film, with Arlene Sidaris producing. It is the tenth of the eleven features he directed, arriving between Fit to Kill in 1993 and L.E.T.H.A.L. Ladies: Return to Savage Beach in 1998, and it belongs to his long-running series of action films built around female agents. Julie Strain appears as Willow Black, Julie K. Smith as Cobra and Shae Marks as Tiger, while Marcus Bagwell plays Warrior. Kevin Light and Cristian Letelier are also among the credited cast of forty-four. Running 96 minutes, the film was released in the United States in February 1996.

Audience scores are low: on IMDb it holds 3.8 out of 10 from about 1,900 votes, and on TMDB it sits at 4.3 out of 10 from a much smaller group of 62 voters. The two averages point in the same direction, and the larger IMDb sample indicates that the response has been consistently modest.
