The Detective 2

Private detective Chan Tam is recruited by his friend, police officer Fung Chak, to assist in a series of violent murders. The victims include a man, a woman, and a teenager, none of whom appear to have any connection to each other. As Tam struggles to find a lead in the investigation, he discovers that the current case is linked to the deaths of his own parents.

Directed by Oxide Pang Chun, this film followed The Storm Warriors in his chronological list of directed works. The screenplay was written by Pang Pak-Sing and Oxide Pang Chun. Aaron Kwok stars as the lead character, Chan Tam, alongside Liu Kai-Chi as Fung Chak. The supporting cast includes Xu Zhengxi, Patrick Tam, Eddie Cheung, and Ciwi Lam Sze-Man. Produced by Enlight Pictures, the movie had a budget of 9 million USD.
