Amazonas

Amazonas is a Colombian production blending drama, fantasy, and thriller elements. The movie consists of six shorter films that examine various parts of Amazonian culture. Through these segments, the story explores the lives of the rainforest's inhabitants and the significant difficulties they encounter in their environment.

The project was directed by Maria Gamboa, Lucas Maldonado, Javier Mejía, Jorge Navas, and Carlos Moreno. For Maria Gamboa, this was the first of two listed films. Lucas Maldonado directed this after The Snitch Cartel and before Rubirosa 3 and The Initiated: Written from the Shadows. Spiros Stathoulopoulos also served as a director, following this release with The Megalomaniacs. The screenplay was written by Maria Gamboa, Matias Maldonado, and Emiliano Mansilla, with production handled by Candelaria Films and Leftwood Films.

The cast includes Alberto Valdiri as a clown and Harold Devasten as a Spanish soldier. Released on March 2, 2016, the film has a runtime of 94 minutes. It has received a positive reception from its small viewer base, holding a rating of 7.6/10 on IMDb based on 18 votes.
