Set on a secluded island in the Finnish archipelago during a global pandemic, the story follows Elli and her husband, Mikko, who is a pastor. Their quiet life is disrupted by the arrival of Olavi, an old friend of the couple. This visit creates a tense emotional triangle, as Elli finds herself conflicted between her marriage and a past romantic connection with the guest.
