Sleepless Night

Vincent is a police officer who, along with his partner Manuel, steals a large shipment of cocaine from a crime lord named José Marciano. The theft does not stay secret for long, and Marciano retaliates by taking Vincent's son hostage. To get the boy back, Vincent must hand over the drugs he no longer has, and the exchange is set to take place inside a sprawling nightclub controlled by the criminals. Over the course of a single night, Vincent moves through the club's packed dance floors and dark corridors, caught between corrupt officers and unreliable dealers as he tries to save his child.

Sleepless Night is a Belgian, Luxembourg and French co-production directed by Frédéric Jardin, who wrote the screenplay with Nicolas Saada. It was Jardin's first feature, made for a budget of around 3 million dollars, and he returned to directing with Survive in 2024. The cast is led by Tomer Sisley as Vincent, with Serge Riaboukine as Marciano, Laurent Stocker as Manuel, Julien Boisselier, JoeyStarr and Birol Ünel in supporting roles.
