Palm Trees and Power Lines

Lea is seventeen and spending a dull summer in her American hometown, where her mother is either working or occupied with her own relationships and her friends no longer hold much interest for her. A chance meeting with Tom, a charming man twice her age, offers an escape from that frustration. What begins as a romance gradually turns into dependence, as Tom draws her away from everyone around her and his intentions prove far less innocent than they first appeared.

Palm Trees and Power Lines is a drama directed by Jamie Dack, who wrote the screenplay with Audrey Findlay and produced the film with Leah Chen Baker. It stars Lily McInerny as Lea, Jonathan Tucker as Tom, Gretchen Mol as Sandra, Auden Thornton as Katie, Armani Jackson as Patrick and Quinn Frankel as Amber.
