The Adventures of Maid Marian

Following the death of King Richard the Lionheart, Maid Marian leaves her sanctuary to reunite with Robin Hood as he returns from war. Their reunion is interrupted by an ambush orchestrated by the disgraced Sheriff of Nottingham, who has returned from exile to seek revenge. After Robin is seriously injured in the attack, Marian must use her combat skills to protect him and evade ruthless mercenaries while attempting to lead him to safety through the forest.

Written and directed by Bill Thomas, this action adventure film was the first in a series of three projects he directed between 2022 and 2024. Produced by Signature Entertainment in the United Kingdom, the movie stars Sophie-Louise Craig as Marian and Dominic Andersen as Robin Hood, with Bob Cryer appearing as the Sheriff of Nottingham. Other cast members include Harry Harrold, Jennifer Matter, and Lainy Boyle.

The film received generally poor ratings from viewers. On IMDb, it holds a score of 3.5/10 based on 442 votes, while it has a slightly higher rating of 4.6/10 on TMDB from 24 votes.
