No Limit

Roxana Aubrey abandons her studies in Paris and travels south through France to take a free diving course. There she meets Pascal Gauthier, a world champion in no-limit apnea, and falls into a consuming relationship with him. Together they move through a discipline that is as fascinating as it is dangerous, travelling between diving spots around the world and from one competition to the next as Roxana pushes her own limits. The story is inspired by real events.

No Limit is a drama and romance directed by David M. Rosenthal, who also wrote the screenplay. It is his fourth feature, following A Single Shot, The Perfect Guy and How It Ends. Camille Rowe plays Roxana and Sofiane Zermani plays Pascal, with César Domboy, Laurent Fernandez, Zacharie Chasseriaud and Natalie Mitson in supporting roles. Mélanie Laurent, Maxime Delauney and Romain Rousseau served as producers on the Belgian, American and French co-production, which was made for a budget of 11 million USD. The film runs 119 minutes.

Audience response has been mixed. On IMDb it holds a rating of 5.8 out of 10 from roughly 4,500 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 6 out of 10 from around 300 votes, suggesting a modest reception from viewers since its release in September 2022.
