A Love Song

Faye, a woman living alone in a tent camp beside a lake in the mountains, is waiting for a man named Lito to arrive. The two were sweethearts in their youth and are now both widowed. As she prepares for his visit, she is unsure of what he intends and uneasy about her own feelings. When the night comes, the two of them share it by the water.

A Love Song is an American drama written and directed by Max Walker-Silverman, who also produced it with Dan Janvey and Jesse Hope. It was the first of the director's features, followed by Rebuilding in 2025. Dale Dickey plays Faye and Wes Studi plays Lito, with Michelle Wilson, Benja K. Thomas, John Way and Marty Grace Dennis in supporting roles. The film runs 81 minutes.

On IMDb it holds a rating of 6.7 from around 2,600 votes, and on TMDB 6.6 from a much smaller number of votes. A critics' rating of 7.7 from 105 reviews places it somewhat higher than those audience scores.
