Short description
Molly Morris is a street-smart private investigator who gets recruited by the FBI for an unusual assignment. To protect the daughter of a former mobster who is set to testify against dangerous people, Molly must go undercover at a college sorority. Shedding her tough manner for a polished persona, she has to win the trust of the students around her while keeping her real identity hidden, and she soon finds that not everyone in the house is what they seem.
The film is a 2012 action comedy directed by Tom Vaughan, working from a screenplay by Allan Loeb and Steven Pearl. It came fourth in Vaughan's run of features, after Starter for 10, What Happens in Vegas and Extraordinary Measures, and before Some Kind of Beautiful. Miley Cyrus leads the cast as Molly, with Jeremy Piven, Mike O'Malley, Joshua Bowman, Lauren McKnight and Kelly Osbourne among the supporting players.
Against a budget of 15 million dollars, the film took in about 3 million worldwide. On IMDb it holds 5 out of 10 from roughly 22,000 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 6.1 out of 10 from around 1,100 votes. A critics' rating of 4 out of 10 from 17 reviews places it below the audience scores.
