The (Ex)perience of Love

Sandra and Rémy are a loving couple who struggle to conceive a child. After seeking medical help, they are told they suffer from a condition known as Past Loves Syndrome. The only way to cure this ailment and restore their fertility is for each partner to sleep one more time with every person they have previously dated. This unusual requirement forces the couple to revisit their past relationships to secure their future together.

This Belgian and French production was directed by Raphaël Balboni and Ann Sirot, who also co-wrote the screenplay. For both directors, this film follows their 2021 project The Male Gaze: Three's Company and precedes their 2027 work Diane In The Loop. The movie stars Lucie Debay as Sandra and Lazare Gousseau as Rémy, with supporting roles played by Nora Hamzawi, Florence Loiret Caille, Florence Janas, and Vincent Lecuyer.
