Short description
Sam is a secret agent attending a lavish destination wedding as a bridesmaid for her best friend. Her goal is to support the bride, but the event is interrupted when a group of armed mercenaries takes the wealthy guests hostage. Sam must fight the intruders and protect the wedding guests without exposing her true identity or ruining the celebration. During the conflict, she discovers that the actual danger may be closer than she initially realized.
This action comedy was directed by Simon West, marking the 13th of 14 films in his career, following Old Guy and preceding The Legend Hunters. The screenplay was written by Shaina Steinberg. What's left behind the scenes
- The fight scene was filmed at the very end, and Rebel Wilson, who played Sam, was accidentally hit in the face with a prop gun. The actress had to seek help from a plastic surgeon.
- Rebel Wilson performed a significant number of stunts herself for her role. She refused to film only the scene where her character jumps out of a window – due to her fear of heights.
