She's the One

She's the One is a 1996 American comedy about two Irish-American brothers in New York whose romantic lives keep colliding. Mickey drives a cab and is content with his life until he meets Hope, a student he ends up marrying after a spontaneous detour. His younger brother Francis works on Wall Street and is married to Renee, though the spark has gone out of their marriage and he is seeing Heather, who happens to be Mickey's former girlfriend. When Mickey learns about the affair, long-standing sibling tensions come to the surface, and the brothers' father has marital troubles of his own.

Edward Burns wrote and directed the film and plays Mickey, with Jennifer Aniston as Renee, Cameron Diaz as Heather, Maxine Bahns as Hope, John Mahoney as Mr. Fitzpatrick and Michael McGlone as Francis. It was Burns's second turn in the director's chair, following his debut with The Brothers McMullen, and he went on to direct The Groomsmen, Millers in Marriage, The Family McMullen and Finnegan's Foursome.

Made for about 4 million dollars, the film took roughly 10 million worldwide, a modest return. On IMDb it holds a 6 out of 10 from around 19,000 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 5.5 out of 10 from 284 votes. A critics' score of 5.9 out of 10 from 52 reviews places it close to the audience average.
