Love at First Lie

A cheerful young woman named Bo lives in the Mong Kok district of Hong Kong, where she happens to meet Edward, a wealthy man who is estranged from his father. Seeking revenge against his parent, Edward pays Bo and her friend Keung to disrupt his father's wedding. This arrangement leads to a romantic relationship between Bo and Edward. Although the couple believes their bond is permanent, they eventually face unforeseen challenges that complicate their future.

The film was directed and written by Patrick Kong Pak-Leung, appearing second in a chronological list of his work that includes Marriage With a Liar, Queen of Mahjong, and Love and Hate. The cast features Mandy Tam Man-Huen in the role of Bo, Edward Chen as Edward, Leung Chung-Hang as Keung, and Sherring Ng as Bo's mother. Produced by Media Asia Films, this romantic drama was released on December 23, 2023.
