Sleeper

A man named Resnik, who was imprisoned for killing a man and kidnapping a girl called Kelly, escapes from custody during a nighttime transfer. Having spent his incarceration in isolation and awake only during dark hours, Resnik returns to Moonlight Bay to pursue his obsession. Detectives Raynor and Molloy attempt to track him down and stop him within a twelve-hour window before sunset to prevent further violence.

Written and directed by Dru Brown, this Australian action horror film was the first of two listed directorial efforts, preceding Double or Nothing. The movie features Scott Levy as Resnik, with Ty Hungerford, Bruce Hopkins, and Kym Jackson in supporting roles, among a credited cast of 29. The film has a runtime of 87 minutes.
