Trouble Man

Jaxen is a private investigator in Atlanta and a former police officer who is hired to locate Jahari, a missing R&B singer. While searching for the star, he discovers that her disappearance is linked to a wide-reaching conspiracy. This revelation leads Jaxen to distrust the people around him and confront elements of his own history.

The film was directed by Michael Jai White, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Michael Stradford. It is the fourth film White has directed, following Never Back Down 2: The Beatdown, Never Back Down: No Surrender, and Outlaw Johnny Black. White also stars as Jaxen, appearing alongside a cast that includes Method Man, La La Anthony, Orlando Jones, Levy Tran, and Mike Epps.

Produced by Samuel Goldwyn Films and Buffalo 8, this American action comedy has a runtime of 92 minutes. Since its release on August 1, 2025, it has received a rating of 6.3/10 on TMDB based on 24 votes.
