Call Sign "Passenger"

Call Sign "Passenger" is a war drama centered on Ryabinin, a young artist living a comfortable life in Moscow. Driven by a desire to document the conflict in Donbas and express perspectives dismissed by his social circle, he leaves behind his partner and his bohemian lifestyle to join the militia. Through his experiences in the region and his interactions with others, he undergoes a personal transformation, shedding his previous attachments to find a new sense of identity.

The film was written and directed by Ilya Kazankov. It was produced by Cinema Fund and VVP-Alyans, with Maxim Korolev and Olga Zhuravleva serving as producers. Released on March 14, 2024, the Russian production has a total runtime of 95 minutes.
