Short description

Starting Quarterback is an action comedy centered on two men who played quarterback in high school. After being reunited, they are compelled to cooperate in an effort to take down a drug cartel.

The film was written and produced by David Vorderstrasse, who also stars as Dave Krugle. The cast includes Kai'o Davis as Matt Anderson, Stephen Davie as Anthony Kendrick, Lainy Larsen as Janine Wilson, Max Wulf as Claude Roselli, and Jazmin Sandoval as Jazmin Sandoval. Produced by Parkerfilm and Ravenite Productions, the project was directed by Parker Viale. This was the first of two films directed by Viale, preceding the 2026 movie Inspection. The production resulted in a short film with a runtime of 20 minutes.
