Blind Dating

Danny is a young blind man who is confident and sociable, and his eyesight does not hold him back in most areas of life. Romance is the exception. His brother Larry, hoping to help, arranges a string of blind dates for him, and each one ends badly. Danny's situation grows more complicated when he meets Leeza, a nurse who works with his doctor. He falls for her, but she is Indian and already promised to another man. Danny also considers an experimental procedure that could restore part of his sight, a decision that could change his life in ways beyond the physical.

The film is a romantic comedy directed by James Keach, working from a screenplay by Christopher Theo. It is the fourth feature Keach directed, following The Stars Fell on Henrietta, Camouflage and Submerged. Chris Pine plays Danny, with Anjali Jay as Leeza, Stephen Tobolowsky as Dr. Perkins, Jane Seymour as Dr. Evans, Eddie Kaye Thomas as Larry and Pooch Hall as Jay. Twenty cast members and sixty-four crew are credited.
