Four healthy young people in Tokyo die of heart failure at the exact same moment. Reporter Kazuyuki Asakawa investigates the deaths and finds that the victims had all visited a rural inn one week prior. While there, he watches a mysterious video containing a warning that any viewer will die in seven days. Asakawa must find a way to break the curse before his own time runs out, eventually seeking help from a former colleague.
