A double-decker bus explosion on Valentine's Day results in numerous deaths and charred wreckage. A retired forensic expert named Lung Sir investigates the incident and finds evidence that the blast was a deliberate act carried out by two passengers, Fai and Ike. As the investigation unfolds, it reveals that the couple lived on the margins of society and suffered through a history of despair, homophobia, and abuse. Their actions are depicted as a suicidal protest against a world they viewed as unjust, leaving behind a final message about ending their lives on a beautiful day.
