Bring It On: In It to Win It is a 2007 comedy set at a cheerleading camp in Florida, where the East Coast Jets have long dominated the annual national championships and the West Coast Sharks arrive determined to take the title from them. The two squads are fierce rivals, and the Sharks' captain, Carson, complicates matters further when she becomes involved with a member of the Jets. After an accident leaves both teams short of enough cheerleaders to compete, their captains must find a way to work together.
Steve Rash directed, working from a screenplay by Alyson Fouse and Elena Song. It was his second film in the Bring It On series, following Bring It On: All or Nothing the previous year, and it sits between that title and Road Trip: Beer Pong in a run of comedies he directed from the late 1980s onward. Ashley Benson plays Carson, with Michael Copon as Penn, Cassandra Scerbo as Brooke, Anniese Taylor Dendy, Jennifer Tisdale and Noel Areizaga among the credited cast.
The film runs 90 minutes and was released directly on home entertainment. On IMDb it holds a rating of 5.1 from around 15,000 votes, while on TMDB it stands at 6.4 from 549 votes. The smaller, more favourable TMDB sample sits noticeably higher than the broader IMDb vote.
