Rapture-Palooza

Rapture-Palooza is a comedy set in the aftermath of the Rapture, when millions of people have been taken up to heaven and those left behind must cope with a world full of strange afflictions. Lindsey and her boyfriend Ben are trying to live something like a normal life near Seattle, surrounded by talking locusts, blood rain and other biblical misfortunes. Their situation grows more complicated when the Antichrist moves in nearby and takes an interest in Lindsey, prompting Ben and the people around them to try to stop him.

The film was directed by Paul Middleditch, the first of the two features he has made, and written by Chris Matheson. Anna Kendrick plays Lindsey, John Francis Daley plays Ben, and Craig Robinson appears as the Antichrist, with Ken Jeong, Rob Corddry and Thomas Lennon in supporting roles.

Released in 2013, the film runs 85 minutes. On IMDb it holds a critics' rating of 4.2/10 from 21 reviews, while on TMDB it has a rating of 5.2/10 from 280 votes, indicating limited and mixed engagement from both reviewers and audiences.
