Teen Beach Movie

Brady and McKenzie are close friends who spend the last day of summer surfing together before McKenzie leaves for college. A mysterious wave pulls them out of their own time and into the world of Wet Side Story, a beach party musical from the 1960s where surfers and bikers are locked in a rivalry over the beach. In this film-within-a-film, people break into song and dance without warning. Brady and McKenzie realize that by interfering with the story, they have disrupted its romance: the surfer hero Tanner falls for McKenzie, while the biker girl Lela becomes interested in Brady. To get home, they must find a way to restore the musical's original plot.
