Cold Comes the Night

Chloe runs a rundown motel with her daughter Sophia, and money is tight. When a career criminal named Topo, whose eyesight is failing, stops at the motel, his cash is stolen from his car by Billy, a corrupt police officer. Topo takes Chloe and Sophia hostage and forces Chloe to act as his eyes while he tracks Billy down to recover the money. Chloe sees a chance to bargain for a better life, but the arrangement goes wrong, and the various double-crosses end in violence.

Cold Comes the Night is a 2013 American crime drama directed by Tze Chun, who wrote the screenplay with Oz Perkins and Nick Simon. Alice Eve plays Chloe, Bryan Cranston plays Topo, Logan Marshall-Green plays Billy and Ursula Parker plays Sophia, with Leo Fitzpatrick and Erin Cummings in supporting roles. The film runs 90 minutes.
