Black Dynamite

Black Dynamite is a 1970s-set action comedy about a former CIA operative and Vietnam veteran who takes on a criminal organization known as "The Man." When his brother is murdered, Black Dynamite sets out to find those responsible, a trail that leads him through the drug trade, adulterated liquor and corruption reaching into the highest levels of power. The film sends up the blaxploitation genre while also delivering the chases, fights and shootouts that defined it.

Scott Sanders directed and co-wrote the screenplay with star Michael Jai White and Byron Minns. Michael Jai White leads the cast as the title character, alongside Arsenio Hall, Tommy Davidson, Kevin Chapman, Richard Edson and Bokeem Woodbine.
