Steven and Shannon travel to Puerto Rico to finalize the adoption of a seven-year-old girl named Nina. Their trip turns into a crisis when the child suddenly vanishes and the adoption agency they trusted disappears without a trace. The couple discovers they have fallen victim to a scam and must risk their lives to uncover the truth and rescue their daughter.

Directed by Alan White, this thriller follows his 2007 film Broken. The movie stars Ryan Phillippe and Rachelle Lefevre as the parents, with John Cusack, Jacki Weaver, Luis Guzmán, and Briana Roy in supporting roles. The production was a collaboration between companies from the United States, Puerto Rico, Malaysia, and China, with a screenplay written by Luke Davies and Carmine Gaeta.
