Sniper: Legacy

Thomas Beckett, a veteran marksman, is believed dead after a gunman begins targeting senior military officers. His son Brandon, himself a gunnery sergeant, sets out to find whoever is responsible. What he learns along the way changes the picture: his father is alive, and the men above him appear to have used Brandon to draw the killer out. The search turns into a confrontation that both Becketts end up fighting.

Don Michael Paul directed and co-wrote the film with John Fasano, working from a story produced by Scott Einbinder, Jeffery Beach and Phillip J. Roth. It was the sixth of fifteen features Paul has directed, following Jarhead 2: Field of Fire the same year and preceding Tremors 5: Bloodlines. Tom Berenger returns as Thomas Beckett, the role he originated in the earlier Sniper films, with Chad Michael Collins as Brandon, alongside Doug Allen, Dominic Mafham, Mercedes Mason and Mark Lewis Jones.

Made in the United States and Bulgaria for Destination Films, UFO International Productions and BUFO, the film runs 98 minutes. On IMDb it holds a rating of 5.3 from around 6,600 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 6 out of 10 from roughly 289 votes, a smaller and slightly more favourable sample.
