Demonwarp

In a wooded area, a man and his daughter encounter a creature they take to be a Bigfoot-like beast. Before long, they come to believe the truth is stranger still, involving a hidden spacecraft and a nest of extraterrestrial beings. Years earlier, a comet had come down in the same American forests, an event witnessed by a preacher who died soon afterwards.

The film follows Bill Crafton, who is hunting the aggressive animal that attacked his cabin and took his daughter, and a group of young people who arrive to spend time at that same remote cabin and dismiss his warnings. Emmett Alston directed the horror and science-fiction film, working from a screenplay by Jim Bertges and Bruce Akiyama, with Richard L. Albert producing. George Kennedy heads the cast as Bill Crafton, alongside David Michael O'Neill, Pamela Gilbert, Billy Jayne, Colleen McDermott and Michelle Bauer.

Demonwarp was released in the United States in March 1988 and runs 91 minutes. It is one of several features Alston directed across the 1970s and 1980s.
