Mortal Thoughts

Mortal Thoughts centers on two close friends, Cynthia Kellogg and Joyce Urbanski, whose bond is tested when Joyce's husband, James, is found dead. James is abusive and volatile, known for tormenting his wife and stealing from her. After a group outing marred by his drunken behavior, he is discovered with his throat cut, and the police must determine whether his death was murder or an accident. Joyce becomes the prime suspect, while Cynthia, who knows the couple's troubled history, faces questions about what she is willing to reveal. The story unfolds largely through Cynthia's account of events, including a police interview that is recorded on camera.
