Jim Beale, a physicist, builds a device that can bend space and time, and the proof of its success arrives as a rare dahlia sent back from the future. To confirm the machine works, he needs to find an identical flower in the present, and the one he turns up belongs to Abby, a woman whose interest in his work may not be innocent. Corporate executive Klaus Meisner has his own designs on the invention, and Jim, convinced Abby means to take it from him, travels into the past to undo what he believes she has done.
Jacob Gentry wrote and directed the film, one of several features he made across the 2000s and 2010s, working here with producers Alexander Motlagh and Christopher Alender. Chad McKnight leads as Jim, with Brianne Davis as Abby and AJ Bowen and Scott Poythress as colleagues; Michael Ironside plays Meisner and Claire Bronson appears as Helen Meisner. The production was a Mexican-American co-production shot in Atlanta.
The film drew modest audiences. On IMDb it holds a rating of 5.4 from around 12,000 votes, and on TMDB a rating of 5.7 from roughly 424 votes, while a critics' score of 5.7 from 29 reviews sits close to the audience response, suggesting a middling reception across the board for this independent science-fiction mystery.
