Pitch Perfect 3

After winning the world championships, the members of the Bellas a cappella group find that life after college does not offer much for people who make music with their mouths. Scattered and struggling to find work, they get a chance to perform together again on an overseas tour for US troops. The reunion brings the group back on stage and also leads them into some questionable decisions.

This 2017 musical comedy is the third entry in the Pitch Perfect series. It is directed by Trish Sie, whose earlier feature was Step Up All In; her later films include The Sleepover, Sitting in Bars with Cake and Players. Mike White and Kay Cannon wrote the screenplay, and Elizabeth Banks, Paul Brooks and Max Handelman produced. Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Brittany Snow, Hailee Steinfeld, Elizabeth Banks and Anna Camp are among the main cast. The film runs 93 minutes.

Made for a budget of 45 million dollars, it took in about 185 million dollars worldwide, a strong return. Audience ratings are moderate: on IMDb it holds 5.8 from around 78,000 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 6.5 from roughly 3,500 votes. A critics' score of 4.7 from 150 reviews places it below both audience measures.
