The movie features a cast including Danny Bellini, Ryan Jennifer Jones, Gore Abrams, Jared Hacker, Adam Schneider, and Alice Bahlke. Produced by Joe Bandelli through Cognetti Films and Marlyous' Boys, the film has a runtime of 91 minutes.
The movie received generally positive feedback from audiences and critics. It holds a 6.4 rating on IMDb based on 35,000 votes and a 6.5 rating on TMDB from 683 votes. Film critics provided a slightly higher score of 6.6 based on 11 reviews.
What's left behind the scenes
- The film was shot at a haunted attraction called Haunting at the Waldorf Hotel in a small town in Pennsylvania.
- When Sarah (Ryan Jennifer Jones) stares at the wall in the middle of the night and speaks in an incomprehensible language, it is simply a recording of the actress saying the words “When I got to the front door, the police were arriving,” played in reverse.
- After another horrific incident, Paul, played by Gore Abrams, runs out of the room and begins to retch. This was not in the script; the actor actually vomited.
- In the scenes with the clown, the costume and mask were worn by Danny Bellini (who played Alex) and Jared Hacker (who played Tony). The mannequin typically used for the clown mask was unstable, so a person had to be used instead.
