Fast Five
Short description
Fast Five follows Brian O'Conner and Mia Toretto after they break Dominic Toretto out of custody. Wanted by authorities, the three cross one border after another until they are cornered in Rio de Janeiro, where they must pull off one last job to buy their freedom. Assembling a team of skilled drivers, they also find themselves up against a corrupt businessman who wants them dead and a relentless federal agent, Luke Hobbs, who leads a manhunt with a squad of his own.
The film is the fifth entry in the series and the fourth directed by Justin Lin, following Annapolis, The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift and Fast & Furious, and preceding Fast & Furious 6. Chris Morgan wrote the screenplay, with Michael Fottrell, Neal H. Moritz and Vin Diesel producing. Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Jordana Brewster reprise their roles, joined by Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris and Matt Schulze, among a credited cast of 38 and crew of 186.
Released in April 2011, Fast Five had a budget of 125 million dollars and took about 626 million dollars worldwide, a strong return that reflects the film's broad commercial reach. It holds a rating of 7.3 on IMDb from roughly 432,000 votes and a 7.2 on TMDB from around 9,000 votes, while its critics' rating stands at 6.4 from 207 reviews, showing that general audiences rated it somewhat more warmly than critics did.

When Hobbs opens it, a photograph of Letty is attached inside, who was supposedly killed in the fourth installment, but the case suggests quite the opposite.
