Rush Hour 3

Rush Hour 3 follows Detective James Carter of the Los Angeles police and Inspector Lee of the Hong Kong force, who are drawn back together when an attempt on the life of the Chinese ambassador Han disrupts the ambassador's plan to expose the inner workings of the Triads before an international court. The trail leads the two mismatched partners to Paris, where they must recover a list of names and confront the syndicate's killers, and where a figure from Lee's past complicates matters. The film is a sequel in which the pair again work a case that reaches well beyond Los Angeles.

Brett Ratner directed this eighth of his thirteen films in chronological order, following X-Men: The Last Stand and preceding New York, I Love You, from a screenplay by Jeff Nathanson. Jackie Chan returns as Lee and Chris Tucker as Carter, with Hiroyuki Sanada as Kenji, Max von Sydow as Varden Reynard, Yvan Attal as George and Roman Polanski as Detective Revi among a credited cast of fifty-one and a crew of forty-three. It was produced by Roger Birnbaum, Jonathan Glickman and Arthur M. Sarkissian.

Released on August 8, 2007, the film had a budget estimated at 140 million US dollars and took about 258 million US dollars worldwide. On IMDb it holds a rating of 6.3 from around 198,000 votes, and on TMDB 6.5 from roughly 3,856 votes; a critics' rating of 4.3 from 156 reviews places it below the audience scores.
