Kung Fu Mahjong

A compulsive gambler named Chi Mo Sai discovers that a young man named Wong possesses a photographic memory. He decides to train Wong in the game of mahjong to exploit this talent, despite strong opposition from Wong's employer, Auntie Fei. After impressing a triad leader, Wong faces a violent retaliation that leaves him mentally unstable. He is eventually cured through the game, leading to a final competition where he attempts to defeat the triad boss and claim the title of King of Mahjong.

The action comedy was produced by Wong Jing and Charles Heung and written by Wong Jing. It was co-directed by Billy Chung Siu-Hung and Wong Jing. For Billy Chung Siu-Hung, this was the third film in a career that includes Love to Kill and Trust Me U Die. For Wong Jing, this was the 25th of 37 directed films, following Haunted Office and preceding On His Majesty's Secret Service. The cast features Roger Kwok, Yuen Wah, Yuen Qiu, Jade Leung Tsang, Wong Jing, and Theresa Fu.
