Fermat's Room

Four mathematicians who have never met are brought together by a host they do not know, drawn by the promise of solving a difficult puzzle. They arrive at an isolated building and are sealed inside a room that slowly closes in on them. Their only way out lies in working through the problems set for them and in figuring out what connects them and why someone would want them dead. As the space narrows, the group must rely on logic rather than panic to survive.

This Spanish mystery thriller from 2007 was directed by Luis Piedrahita and Rodrigo Sopeña, who also wrote the screenplay, with Adolfo Blanco and César Benítez producing. Lluís Homar, Santi Millán, Alejo Sauras and Elena Ballesteros play the four mathematicians, while Federico Luppi appears as the mysterious Fermat.
