Sam has been thrown out of schools around the country, and his mother can no longer cover the tuition at the private school run by the easygoing headmaster Dan Fox, where he has finally settled in. After a drunken encounter with Alison, a married woman roughly twenty years his senior, Sam and his friends hit on a plan: they set up an escort service that pairs them with older women, using the income to keep Sam enrolled. The arrangement grows more complicated as customers begin to include people close to his own life.
K. Asher Levin directed and wrote the screenplay, and produced alongside Jack Schuster and Graham Larson. It was the first of the three films credited to him, arriving well before Slayers and Dig, both from 2022. Kyle Gallner leads as Sam, with Kathryn Morris as Alison, Denise Richards as Judy, Sarah Hyland as Courtney, Jim Belushi as Dan Fox and Rebecca Mader as Mary among a credited cast of twenty-two. The comedy-drama runs 81 minutes and was made for about 1 million dollars.
Audience response has been modest: on IMDb it holds 4.9 out of 10 across roughly 4,400 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 4.8 out of 10 from a much smaller pool of around 69 ratings. The two scores are closely aligned, indicating a similar reception from both audiences.
