Nick, a pizza delivery driver, finds his routine life upended when two inexperienced criminals abduct him and strap an explosive device to his chest. They give him only a short window to rob a bank for them, and with time running out he turns to Chet, his estranged best friend, for help. Together the pair must outmaneuver their captors, stay ahead of the police and other dangerous parties, and work through the strains in their own friendship, all before the deadline passes.

The film is directed by Ruben Fleischer and written by Michael Diliberti, with Ben Stiller among its producers. It followed Fleischer's Zombieland and preceded Gangster Squad in his filmography. Jesse Eisenberg plays Nick, with Danny McBride and Nick Swardson as the two would-be criminals, Aziz Ansari as Chet, and supporting turns from Dilshad Vadsaria and Michael Peña. It is a Columbia Pictures release running 83 minutes.

Produced for 28 million US dollars, the film took about 41 million dollars worldwide. On IMDb it holds 6 out of 10 from roughly 110,000 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 5.8 out of 10 from a much smaller base of about 1,900 votes. A critics' rating of 5.5 out of 10 across 163 reviews places it close to the audience scores, indicating a middling reception on both sides.
