Love and Other Disasters

Emily Jackson, an American woman working at the British edition of Vogue, spends her time acting as a matchmaker for her circle of friends. While she assists her gay roommate Peter and her friend Tallulah in finding love, Emily avoids serious commitment herself, maintaining a casual relationship with an ex-boyfriend she does not love. The situation complicates when she meets Paolo, a photographer's assistant. Misunderstanding his orientation, she attempts to set him up with Peter, unaware that Paolo is actually interested in her.
