The Takedown

Two police officers with contrasting backgrounds and professional methods are forced to reunite for a new investigation. Ousmane Diakité and François Monge, who previously worked together years prior, travel across France to the Alps. While their mission begins with a drug deal or a local murder, the situation evolves into a larger criminal conspiracy involving danger and comedic situations. The pair must overcome their personal differences to solve the case.

Directed by Louis Leterrier, this action comedy follows his work on Grimsby and precedes his direction of Fast X. The film stars Omar Sy and Laurent Lafitte in the lead roles, with a supporting cast that includes Izïa Higelin, Dimitri Storoge, Stéphane Pezerat, and Jo Prestia. The screenplay was written by Stéphane Kazandjian and produced by Eric and Nicolas Altmayer through Mandarin Production.
