2-Headed Shark Attack

2-Headed Shark Attack is a 2012 American action horror film about a group of students whose Semester at Sea program turns deadly. After a mutated two-headed shark attacks and sinks their vessel, the survivors take refuge on a deserted atoll, where a professor and his wife try to keep the group calm. Their relief is short-lived: the creature keeps circling, and the island itself begins to flood, leaving the stranded students with nowhere to run from the predator.

The film was directed by Christopher Ray, its third feature after Megaconda, and was written by H. Perry Horton for the low-budget production company The Asylum. Carmen Electra and Charlie O'Connell play Anne and Professor Babish, with Brooke Hogan, Gerald Webb, David Gallegos and Christina Bach among the credited cast of twenty-seven. Made for about one million dollars, it is the first entry in a series of multi-headed shark films from the same director, followed by 3-Headed Shark Attack.

Audience response was poor: on IMDb it holds a rating of 2.5 out of 10 from roughly 7,800 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 4.3 out of 10 from just over 300 votes. The wide gap in vote numbers reflects the film's larger following on the former platform.
