That's My Boy
Short description
Donny Berger became a father while he was still a teenager, raised his son Todd on his own, and then dropped out of the boy's life once Todd turned eighteen. Years later, Donny is broke and owes a large sum in back taxes. Facing the prospect of prison, he learns that Todd has grown into a wealthy lawyer who is about to marry into a rich family. Donny shows up uninvited just before the wedding, moves in, and quickly clashes with Todd's fiancée Jamie, turning the days leading up to the ceremony upside down.
Sean Anders directed the film, which sits second in his filmography, between Sex Drive and Horrible Bosses 2. David Caspe wrote the screenplay, and Adam Sandler produced through Happy Madison Productions alongside Columbia Pictures and Relativity Media. Sandler stars as Donny, with Andy Samberg as Todd, Leighton Meester as Jamie, and supporting turns from Vanilla Ice, Tony Orlando and Will Forte. The production carried a budget of 70 million dollars and returned 58 million worldwide.
Audience response has been modest: on IMDb it holds 5.6/10 from about 121,000 votes, and on TMDB 5.8/10 from roughly 2,200 votes. A film critics' rating of 3.4/10 from 114 reviews places it well below those viewer scores, indicating that critics were markedly less receptive than audiences.

- Rex Ryan plays an episodic role as a fan of the Patriots. In real life, he is the head coach of the New York Jets, who are the main competitors of the Patriots.
