Short description
A rag doll fights a monster that has been stealing the souls of his people.

What's left behind the scenes

  • According to the author, the film's design was inspired by the works of Jan Švankmajer, the Quay Brothers, and the creative work of the Lauenshtein brothers (Christoph and Wolfgang Lauenshtein).
  • It took four and a half years to produce the film. Shane Acker created it on his home computer in his free time.
  • Shane Acker used Maya 1.5-5.5 for rendering, Adobe Photoshop for creating textures, Adobe After Effects for compositing, and Adobe Premiere for editing during the film's creation.
  • In one episode, the cartoon characters unscrew a light bulb from a desk lamp found in a junkyard, which resembles the "Luxo" lamp used in the animation studio "Pixar's" intro.
