What's left behind the scenes
- All the actors who played Merlin at different ages have different colored eyes: the toddler has brown eyes, the teenager has unnaturally blue eyes, adult Merlin has ordinary blue eyes, and elderly Merlin has brown eyes again.
- Producer Dyson Lovell provided the voice for the horse, Sir Rupert. This is not reflected in the credits.
- Agnieszka Koson, in the role of young Nimue, speaks with the voice of Isabella Rossellini.
