Short description
The Files of Young Kindaichi: Lost in Kowloon is a Japanese mystery drama centered on a murder at a hotel in Hong Kong. Kim Yong-Dong, a Korean exchange student working part-time at the establishment, becomes the primary suspect in the crime. To uncover the truth and resolve the conflict, Hajime Kindaichi intervenes to investigate the case.
Directed by Hisashi Kimura, this project was the first in a series of films for the director, followed by 99.9 Criminal Lawyer: The Movie, Sadako DX, and Bakuryū Sentai Abarenjā 20th: Yurusa Rezaru Abare. The screenplay was written by Shin Kibayashi. The film features a cast including Ryosuke Yamada as Kindaichi Hajime, Haruna Kawaguchi as Nanase Miyuki/Yang Lan, Wu Zun as Detective Li Bai Long, SEUNGRI as Kim Longdong, Kenta Kiritani as Ryuta Takigawa, and Daiki Arioka as Saki Ryuji.
