Short description
Tae-seok is a professional Go player whose life spirals downward after he is wrongly accused of murdering his own brother. Following seven years in prison, he seeks vengeance against Sal-soo, the man actually responsible for the crime. Tae-seok assembles a team of allies to infiltrate Sal-soo's criminal organization. By treating his revenge as a real-life game of Go, he works to eliminate the opponents who previously betrayed him.
Directed by Cho Beom-gu, this 2014 South Korean action film followed his 2011 movie Quick. The screenplay was written by Yu Seong-hyeob and produced by Park Mae-hee and Seo Kang-ho. The film features a cast of 23 credited actors, led by Jung Woo-sung as Tae-seok and Lee Beom-su as Sal-soo, alongside Ahn Sung-ki, Kim In-kwon, Lee Si-young, and Choi Jin-hyuk.
Produced by Showbox, Mays Entertainment, and Azit Film, the movie earned 28 million USD at the worldwide box office. It holds a rating of 6.7/10 on TMDB based on 108 votes.
