The Transporter Refueled

Frank Martin, known as the Transporter, works in the criminal underworld of southern France as a driver and courier for hire. He follows strict rules: no names, no questions, and no changes to the deal. His routine is broken when he takes a job from a mysterious woman named Anna, who leads a group of women with their own agenda. Anna and her associates are targeting a ring of Russian human traffickers, and they force Frank's cooperation by holding his father hostage. Father and son become entangled in Anna's vendetta as the conflict plays out along the French Riviera and in Monaco.

This is the fourth film in the Transporter series and a reboot of it, with Ed Skrein taking over the role of Frank Martin from Jason Statham. Ray Stevenson plays his father, and Loan Chabanol plays Anna. Camille Delamarre directed the film, his second feature after Brick Mansions, from a screenplay by Luc Besson with Adam Cooper and Bill Collage; Besson also produced. It was made for about 25 million dollars and took roughly 73 million worldwide, a solid return for an action film. Audience ratings were modest, at 5.2 on IMDb from around 47,000 votes and 5.5 on TMDB from about 1,600 votes, while critics were harsher, giving 3.9 out of 10 across 103 reviews.
